When we began, Washington Avenue was a dirt road and residents grew their own food on the 10-plus acres behind the Home. Each year, pound parties were held to provide the staples needed. Evansville residents would bring sugar, flour, butter, and more to assist our residents. Because of the community's support, then and now, Evansville Protestant Home is able to provide optimal care.
As a not-for-profit, a planned gift is a powerful way to support Evansville Protestant Home. A charitable bequest can be made in your will or living trust and is deductible in terms of estate taxes. Giving back to the Home is an investment, no matter the size of the gift. Honor your loved ones special wishes by remembering us in your estate planning.
